Dog Sitting

Today we have an extra one at our house.  HE goes by the name of Sparkles.  Kyler's inspiration to potty train was the promise of getting to ride a calf and Kaci Fae's inspiration was the promise of a puppy.  She was a little too young to understand gender and names and so why argue?  

The Woodland's are out of town and we are getting the chance to return the favor (Coalie has had many sleepovers with them).  Sparkles spends more time outdoors than Coalie and she wanted to go out this afternoon.  Taylei is paranoid about our busy road and didn't want Coalie to join him.  Kyler decided he would take matters into his own hands, he would go with and make sure Sparkles avoided the road.

 

Kyler ran to grab some shoes and came back with his cleats.  As he is putting them on I try to explain that I'm not comfortable with HIM outside.  

He looks at me and in the cutest voice in the world requests, "Mom, tomeon (come on), just give me a chance."  Repeated and repeated and repeated. 

This picture wasn't from yesterday (December 2009) but it is a perfect example of his attitude.  He is sure to conquer the world, one battle at a time, if his mom will just give him the chance.
