The good and the bad of this day:

Andy cared for Aysen this morning during his early morning awake hours.  The good:  I rolled over and slept on my belly (self gratification).  The bad:  I let Satan win again this morning.

Keanna wanted to eat breakfast at the school:  The good: She didn't dawdle and was ready early enough to go with the neighbors.  The bad:  They were walking and it was only 31 degrees outside, too cold.

Kyler slept in this morning.  The good: It was "Opposite Day" at school so he wore his pajamas.  The bad:  It is pajama day next Tuesday and we already went there.

Aysen had a check up at the doctor: The good: Official healthy weight of 7 pounds 6 ounces.  The bad: 3 shots.

Tina had a check up at the doctor: The good: Incision is healing nicely and pap smear is no longer looming on the horizon.  The bad:  Pap Smear (I hate everything about them) and the scale proved 25 pounds need to disappear.

Taylei stayed home from school with a cough:  The good: She was feeling much better this afternoon.  The bad:  She went to her basketball and softball practices and even though she limited her activity she now feels worse than when she woke up in the morning.

Keanna went to her first Steeler practice:  The good:  A nickname of "Sunny" has been chosen, it even kind of fits, she smiled all practice long.  The bad:  She has a long way to go; to help aid the progress her chores now include swinging a bat and push-ups.

Andy had a parent meeting for the Steeler girls:  The good:  Forms are signed and the attitude seems positive.  The bad: We were 10 minutes late arriving, maybe not the best first impression.

Andy held both basketball and softball practice tonight:  The good:  Nothing is on the agenda for tomorrow night.  The bad:  It is 10:30 pm and we just finished with dinner.

Aysen's bills came from his fall onto his head:  The good:  He is healthy and worth every penny.  The double good:  We have insurance, soon we will know how good it is.  The bad: Lawyers who make it so health care costs are unreasonably high.

I'm tired and ready to call it a night:  The good:  My blogging is TRUTHFULLY done on the day I claim to have written it.  The bad:  None, comfy bed, warm home, children safe, no complaints.

busy day!
have you ever looked at the gigantic piece of steel equipment they use for pap smears? well... if you haven't... don't. it will scar you for life. i've never been the same since that fateful day.
